What does purchasing a sample gown mean?

Our sample gowns have lived throughout different area boutiques for bride-to-be’s to try on during their appointment. They’ve never been worn down the aisle. In fact, some of our samples are brand new, straight from the designer! Each gown is discounted accordingly. Purchasing a sample gown deletes the ordering process and allows you to take home your dream dress the day of your appointment! You will pay for the gown in full, allowing yourself to head right into alterations.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, we are a by-appointment-only bridal boutique. Securing an appointment time ensures your ability to try on all of your favorite styles! Make your appointment today!

Do you Accept Walk In Appointments?

Walk-in’s are always welcome Wednesday – Friday, though scheduled appointments take precedence. We do not take walk-in’s on the weekends.

What is your price range?

We are proud to say that we cater to wide variety of budgets. Our gowns range anywhere from $1,200 – $4,000, though we do have a collection specifically $1,000 + Under and $4,000 + Above.

How long are the appointments?

Each appointment is 90 minutes – just enough time to try on all the pretty!

What sizes do you carry? What if I’m not a sample size?

Most of our inventory includes bridal sample sizes 10’s and 12’s, which correlate to a 4, 6, or 8 in ready-to-wear. However, we have a select number of gowns that are petite + plus size. Like we say, come as you are & let us do the rest! We will never sell you a gown that is unalterable. Your stylist will walk you through how the gown will fit you after alterations and help answer any questions during your appointment.

Buying a sample means I’ll need alterations. Does Aisle Chic do alterations in-house?

We do not do alterations in-house; however we have a trusted list of seamstress recommendations that we’ve worked with since our opening. They are all within the Chicagoland area.

Will my experience at Aisle Chic, being a designer sample boutique, differ from a regular boutique?

Absolutely not, bridal babe! Sitting in the heart of Lincoln Park, we’re a cute, brick bridal boutique filled with the most swoon-worthy dresses. Our owners and stylists are passionate and over the moon to give you a memorable + magical bridal experience – they can’t wait to show you what they have in-store. Your appointment is 90 minutes and led by a personal stylist who will help walk you through the styles and silhouettes you’ve been loving. Aisle Chic was made for the SAVVY bride – a gal who wants to wear her dream dress without breaking the bank. We can’t wait to help you say Y E S!

Have the dresses been worn before?

Our dresses have been worn strictly as samples. A bride has never owned them nor have they lived as consignment gowns. In fact, some of our gowns are brand new, straight from the designers, tags and all! Take a peak at our Designer Authenticity Statement here.

How often do you get new inventory?

We receive gowns on average twice every month. A majority of our inventory comes from our sister-store, Bella Bianca! If we don’t find you the one the day of your appointment, we’ll reach out to Bella Bianca to see what new pretty we can bring over for you.

A Few Key Details to Keep In Mind

We LOVE first-time appointment brides + we know how nerve wracking it can be to try on dresses for the first time. Just remember – we are #TEAMBRIDE! We’ll help you get all the jitters out before trying on gowns, so you can have the most magical experience ever.

We find it best for our brides to wear the undergarments they envision themselves wearing the day of the wedding to their appointment; I.e. spanx, seamless panties, etc.

Though we loving celebrating with a glass of bubbly, we cannot have any champagne in the boutique. We know accidents can happen + because we sell our gowns off-the-rack, we want to ensure that the gowns stay in their original condition.

We have a team of stylists that are passionate + over the moon to help you find the dress of your dreams! Just remember – with an off-the-rack store, our gowns move very fast, so the dress you love, but walk away from, might by not here by the time you come back.
